BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Ashutosh Tiwari is a Research Scholar at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. His research focus is on Lignin Valorization and Value Addition in Lignocellulosic Biomass Biorefinery in Medicinal Applications. He possesses relevant skills including HPLC, Bioreactor, Python, R, and GCMS. Mr. Tiwari completed his MSc in Biotechnology from Guru Ghasidas University in Bilaspur, India, with a score in the top 1%. His MSc thesis was on Cytokine Storm and Lung Damage: Role on Corona Virus Disease a Meta-study. During his MSc, he gained hands-on experience with ELISA, Animal Cell Culture, SDS-PAGE, PCR, R, and Bioinformatics Tools.

Mr. Tiwari holds a BSc in Biotechnology from Guru Ghasidas University, where he was the top 1% of his class. His BSc thesis was on Nanomotors: A Biological Perspective. He was awarded a University Gold Medal for his performance in Biostatistics and Cell & Molecular Biology.

Mr. Tiwari has completed several research projects, including a systems genomic integration of diabetes-related genes and a viral invasion calculation algorithm system for AI-based prediction of viral outbreaks. He also worked on a wireless device for screening cervical cancer.

Mr. Tiwari has an entrepreneurial spirit, having been incubated at the MANAGE Centre of Innovation in Agriprenurship AC&ABC Incubation Centre in India, where he worked on a Spirulina-based carbonated energy drink. He has been granted a design patent for a currency note sanitizing device and has filed several other patents, including a portable currency sanitizing wallet device and a device for sterilization of paper.

Mr. Tiwari has been involved in various leadership and activities, such as the Bali International Student Festival, ACU Summer School, Asia Pacific Week 2021, and serving as an Outreach Committee Member at the 4th International Conference on Recent Advancements in Engineering and Technology (ICRAET-2021). He is a member of several professional organizations, including Immunopaedia Ambassador, Institute of Engineering Research and Publication, Healthcare and Biological Sciences Research Association, European Federation of Biotechnology, Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Royal Microscopical Society, and European Microscopy Society.
